Nutrition :
Better than giving fried maida/atta puri to children. Gluten-free puri made of Jowar is rich in fibre, protein, B vitamins, Iron, Magnesium & zinc. Adding spices like ajwain to soothes the tummy and aids digestion 

Ingredients :
Jowar atta, salt, spices, oil (to fry)

Instructions :
  • Take 1 katori jowar atta in a bowl
  • Add salt & spices as preferred.
  • Take 3/4 katori hot water & gradually add to the bowl & knead a tight dough
  • Once firm, make small balls & roll out using belan (rolling pin)
  • In a kadai, heat sufficient amount of oil & fry the puri until golden brown
  • Serve hot, with chutney/sabji/curry
Makes 5-6 puri
