Chola Pasta

Nutrition :
Adding chola & veggies to your usual pasta increases folates, protein, fibre and many vitamins & minerals. Your usual high carb pasta is now  a nutritious and balanced meal

Ingredients :
Chickpeas/chola (overnight soaked), pasta, tomato, veggies, spices

Instructions :
  1. Boil 1 katori pasta for approx 8-10 mins. Remove & strain and put 1 or 2 glasses of cold water to it, so that the pasta doesn't stick and strain again & keep aside
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat some oil in a pan and saute onions and garlic until golden-brown 
  3. To this add 1 tomato (finely chopped) and 3 teaspoons fresh cream (optional) and stir for 4-5 mins
  4. Add the overnight soaked chickpeas, oregano and spices as per taste and cook for another 4-5 mins
  5. Finally, add the cooked pasta to this, mix well, cook for 1-2 mins
